Integrating your HRIS data

With Qlearsite, you can now connect your HR data to the Qlearsite Platform.

Why Connect?

Once connected, you will have the ability to:

  • Get insights into you organisation’s attrition rate and retention risks based on historical data;
  • Distribute surveys using employee data without the need to create send lists from scratch;
  • Incorporate employee attributes (e.g. tenure) without any manual effort into your retention analysis.

Qlearsite integrations

Get Started

Head over to your account menu (in the top left of the screen) and select ‘Integration setup’.


Select your integration from the list provided. If your platform is not on the list, select 'Merge' and search for your platform.


Then add your API credentials (usernames and passwords/ keys and secrets). If you’re unclear what integration to choose or where to find your account credentials: please contact your account manager and get in touch!

Once connected, we will connect to your historical data and begin tracking and monitoring your retention risks.

When you’re collecting feedback, simply select your integration as the source of the employee data and we will fetch the necessary details directly from your HRIS via API. No more hassle with spreadsheets!

Some Technical Information

  • Once connected by API, we collect regular snapshots of your historical data but will normally focus on using more recent ‘events’ from the last 3-6 months in our analytical models.​
  • We collect the following basic information, by Employee ID:
    • Name,
    • Email,
    • Organisational Hierarchy,
    • Gender,
    • Birth date,
    • Start date,
    • Leaving date.​
  • If possible, we also highly recommend this additional data if you already manage this in your HRIS platform. Please talk to us about adding this extra data into your data feed:
    • Job title,
    • Employment Contract type,
    • Is the employee a line manager,
    • Reason for leaving (to remove involuntary events or employment status changes), etc

If your policy is to delete records after a specified time after a person has left your organisation, please let us know. ​
